
Woodridge District 68 and the Woodridge Organization of Music Parents (WOMP) presents Oktubafest 2010 to be held Thursday, November 4th, 2010, at Jefferson JHS gym (7200 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, IL 60517) starting with a hot dog dinner at 5:30 p.m. and featuring the elementary bands in concert at 7:00 p.m.
The hot dog dinner features food from Doggie Diner while Bavarian festival music is performed live by Bob and Hank, complete with lederhosen and fun sing-alongs. The District 68 elementary bands take the stage for their debut performance of the year at 7:00 p.m. The Northern Illinois University Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble will round out the program, which should conclude by 8:00 p.m.
The hot dog dinner costs $5 per person or $20 per family and all proceeds raised will benefit the band students in District 68. No admission is charged to attend the concert. The public is welcome to attend.
