The Will County Historical Society will host a heritage festival to celebrate the rich history of Will County and showcase its unique contributions to the State of Illinois and the Country.
The celebration will encompass the 175th Anniversary of Will County, the 175th Anniversary of the I&M canal digging, and the 100th Anniversary of Texaco in Lockport. It will take place along the I&M canal in downtown Lockport between 2nd and 8th Streets. The celebration will include presentations by historical societies, music, a raffle and free food.
