Fire Damages Condo Building In Woodridge
A fire broke out in an 18-unit condo building early Friday.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Firefighters battled a blaze that broke out in an 18-unit condo building in Woodridge early Friday. No residents or firefighters were injured in the fire, according to Lisle-Woodridge Fire District.
Emergency responders got to the scene at 2216 Country Club Drive just after 5 a.m. to find fire coming from the building's roof. Firefighters evacuated the building and impacted residents were taken to a warming center due to the extreme cold.
The fire was brought under control in less than 30 minutes, but crews stayed at the scene to investigate the incident and help residents get their personal items.

Lisle-Woodridge Fire District was assisted by fire crews from Bolingbrook, Darien-Woodridge Fire District, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Lombard, Naperville, the Tri-State Fire District and Westmont.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation
