Five Below Opens Friday

Attention all bargain-hunters!

Woodridge's newest business, , will open its doors Friday at 9:30 a.m.

The store, located at 1001 75th Street in the Woodgrove Festival Shopping Center, caters to pre-teen and teenagers, with a wide variety of merchandise. Everything is priced between $1 and $5. 

The store's summer hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The store will celebrate its grand opening this weekend. At least one deal is 5-cent hot dogs, as advertised in the store's window (there's a limit of three per customer).

Five Below's merchandise includes sporting goods, games, fashion accessories and jewelry, hobbies and collectibles, bath and body, candy and snacks, room décor and storage, stationery and school supplies, video game accessories, books, DVDs, iPhone accessories, novelty and “gag” items and seasonal items.

Five Below takes the place of formal location. Shoe Carnival moved to a different storefront in the strip mall earlier this year. 

According to Five Below's website, the chain "is the leading retailer of trend-right, extreme-value merchandise to the teen and pre-teen market - all for $1.00 to $5.00."
