According to IHSA.org, the area scores included:
- Downers Grove South (2-2) won 21-14 over Morton (1-3)
- Downers Grove North (2-2) lost 16-10 at Oak Park-River Forest (4-0)
- Hinsdale South (1-3) won 29-6 at Proviso East (0-4)
- Hinsdale Central (3-1) won 31-0 over Proviso West (1-3)
- Downers Grove North vs. Lyons (1-3), 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27
- Downers Grove South at Leyden (1-3), 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27
- Hinsdale South vs. Addison Trail (0-4). 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27
- Hinsdale Central at Glenbard West (1-3), 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28
