The park remains closed until the grand opening as the Woodridge Park District puts the finishing touches in place

The Woodridge Park District is excited to welcome the community to the grand opening of Jubilee Point Park, the newest and largest park in the District's award-winning park system. Located at 7101 Woodridge Drive, Jubilee Point Park spans 42.5 acres and offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities designed for residents of all ages.
Community members are invited to celebrate this milestone at the official Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The festivities will begin with remarks from community leaders and special guests, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting, officially opening the park to the community.
The celebration will continue with opportunities to explore and experience Jubilee Point Park. Attendees can enjoy family-friendly activities, a DJ, treats, and giveaways. The first 100 guests will receive a commemorative gift, and additional prizes and giveaways will be offered to participants who join in activities throughout the park.

Jubilee Point Park represents a significant investment in outdoor recreation and community gathering spaces. Approximately 15 acres have been developed as part of the initial project, featuring a towering destination playground, pickleball courts, a multi-sport court for basketball and futsal, a multi-purpose open play area, baggo courts, ping pong tables, walking and biking trails, bike racks, a community garden, reservable picnic pavilion and convenient parking. Together, these amenities create a park experience that offers something for children, teens, adults, families and active recreation enthusiasts alike.
“Jubilee Point Park is a truly special addition to the Woodridge Park District, and we are thrilled to officially open it to our residents and visitors,” said Executive Director Jenny Knitter. “This park brings together innovative play, active recreation, beautiful natural areas, and opportunities for community connection in one destination. We are incredibly proud of this flagship community park and the vision that made it possible - to preserve this important space for recreation while ensuring connection to surrounding parks and public spaces in the heart of Woodridge.” Knitter added, “Jubilee Point Park is more than a new park, it is a place where people can come together, try something new, stay active, spend time with family and friends and create memories for years to come. We believe it will become a favorite gathering place for our community and an exciting complement to Woodridge’s already remarkable collection of parks and recreational spaces.”
