Ladies' League at Village Greens of Woodridge Hosts Charity Outing
Money raised at the event supported the Child's Voice Pediatric Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (PEHDI) Program.

The B & B Ladies Golf League at Village Greens of Woodridge is a group of women who get together on Friday mornings and enjoy a quick 9-hole round together. The league allows women to not only play golf, but socialize and enjoy themselves in a competitive setting.
While the league is set up for the fun of its members, they understand the importance of giving back to the community and helping out in any way they can. That is why every year the ladies put their passion for golf and philanthropy together to host a league charity outing.
This year, the ladies hosted a golf outing and fundraiser on June 30 at Village Greens to support the Child’s Voice Pediatric Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (PEHDI) Program. The money raised helped children with newborn testing that showed potential speech and hearing problems. The fundraiser started their day off as the league always does; a Friday morning round of 9-holes of golf. Following their time out on the course, everyone headed inside the clubhouse for an enjoyable luncheon.

The luncheon was accompanied by Molly, who is three and a half years old, is the granddaughter of one of the league’s members, and was the guest of honor. Molly attends the Child’s Voice School in Wood Dale, and has benefitted tremendously from attending the school.
All of the money raised was done so through the efforts of the league, whether it’s through their own contributions, or taking the time to go out and collect donations, which shows this league’s true character, that they stand for more than just enjoying a round of golf with their friends.
