Local Musician Needs Your Help After Vehicle Accident
A Go-Fund-Me account has been established for Robert Kramer
About a week ago Robert Kramer and his Manager Jan Olesky were traveling down Route 59 when they were involved in a terrible accident. Their vehicle was totaled by an uninsured erratic driver. Robert's manager Jan Olesky was released later that evening with minor injuries., but Robert Kramer was transferred to the Loyola Trauma Center. His injuries include damage to his neck, right hip and right leg. He will be transferred to a rehabilitation center sometime later this week. Robert is a 69 year old, semi retired musician. He depends on income earned from playing the piano and performing at events. He will be unable to work for several months as he begins to recover. Some of his friends established a Go-Fund-Me account which can be found on Shanahans Facebook. Please consider helping by making a donation.
If you would like to make a donation directly to Robert Kramer other than using the Go-Fund-Me page you can write a check payable to Robert Kramer and send it to Shanahans Food & Spirits, 1999 W. 75th Street Woodridge, Illinois 60517. They in turn will forward your donation to Robert.
Robert Kramer is the secretary of the Woodridge Rotary Club, he is also a professional piano player and a writer and producer. Robert has volunteered his services to the Rotary Club and many other organizations in the Woodridge community. In addition he produced an album called, "Kingman Station". Kingman Station is located in Kingman Arizona. The mayor of Kingman invited Robert Kramer to hold a concert to celebrate his new album. Robert donated all the proceeds from the album to the Kingman Rotary Club. When he returned to Woodridge from the tour, Robert held a special event at Shanahans to debut his album and donated all the profits to the Woodridge Rotary Club. Robert also donated his time playing the piano at the cancer center in Aurora. He is someone that certainly deserves our help.
