Luxury Car Dealership Hopes To Open On Boughton Road In Woodridge
The plan commission will consider a special use permit for the 68,400 square foot dealership and repair center on March 2.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge plan commission will consider a special use permit request for Chicago Motor Cars to open a 68,400 square foot luxury car dealership and repair center that hopes to open at 900 Boughton Rd.
In the past, the site, zoned for B-2 community commercial use, has been home to three different furniture stores. According to village documents, two of those furniture businesses went bankrupt, so, "It appears a furniture store is no longer a viable business at this location."
The petitioners plan to renovate and build out the current structure to convert it into a dealership.

Chicago Motor Cars conducts most of its business online, so would not require a large car inventory. The dealership sells "exotic" and "luxury" cars with an average price of over $100K, village documents show. The amendment would allow Chicago Motor Cars to house 25 vehicles and have a center for car repairs. The majority of their cars would be displayed outside and housed indoors at night.
Chicago Motor Cars also has locations in Naperville and West Chicago
