New Trustee Selected for Woodridge Board

Kay Page will be assuming the vacant position created by the resignation of trustee Goodwin.

Mayor Gina Cunningham has selected Kaleshia “Kay” Page to serve on the Village of Woodridge Board of Trustees.

The mayor will be seeking concurrence on the appointment of Kay Page to the position of village trustee on July 2.

Page will be assuming the vacant position created by the resignation of trustee Goodwin and will serve the village until the end of April 2017.

“We are delighted that Ms. Page has decided to join us as a Trustee on the Village Board,” Cunningham said. “She has demonstrated a passion for our community with prior service on the Plan Commission. We look forward to working with her on the Board.”

Page has served on the Village’s Plan Commission for about two years and has been a resident of the village foreight years.

“I’m honored to have this opportunity to contribute to our community,” she said, “and I’m looking forward to using my personal and professional experiences to help guide me in my role on the village board.”

The mayor and board completed their selection process after interviewing 10 interested residents. “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Kay Page to the village board,” Cunningham said.
