Oktoberfest To Bring Sausage Toss, Music, Brews, More To Woodridge
The two-day festival will also feature a lederhosen contest, a stein relay and other fun activities.
WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge will host its 2022 Oktoberfest Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, offering guests a chance to celebrate German culture with live music, brews, a sausage toss and other fun contests.
Below is a schedule of activities planned for the two-day festival:
Friday- 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Sausage Sculpting Contest
- 5:30 p.m.: Ed Wagner's Brass Band performs live tune
- 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Photo Booth
- 7 p.m.: Stein Relay Races
- 7:30 p.m.: Hello Weekend performs live music
- 8:30 p.m.: Steinholding Contest
- 9 p.m.: Fool House performs live tunes

- 5 p.m.: Don traditional German folk garb to compete in the Project Lederhosen Contest
- 5:30 p.m.: Jimmy's Bavarians performs live music
- 6 p.m. t0 10:30 p.m.: Photo Booth
- 7 p.m.: Wurst Whipping Sausage Toss Contest
- 7:30 p.m.: Too Much Molly performs live tunes
- 8:30 p.m.: Jodelwettbewerb Yodeling Contest
- 9 p.m.: Mike and Joe perform live music
Festival goers can buy tickets to Woodridge Oktoberfestonline through Sept. 29 for $10. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $15. Children who are younger than the age of one get in for free.
