Outdoor Movies, Concerts Kick Off In Woodridge For 2023
Movies Under the Moon and Summer Concerts are set to begin in June in Woodridge. See what's on the schedule.
WOODRIDGE, IL — With summer coming, residents can find plenty of ways to enjoy the weather, including with outdoor movies and concerts in Woodridge. The village will begin its Movies Under the Moon and Summer Concert events in June.
Movies Under the Moon will feature family-friendly flicks shown in Woodridge parks. Popcorn, soda and other concessions will be available for purchase. Movies begin at 8:45 p.m. during the summer installment of the series. The 2023 Movies Under the Moon schedule is as follows:
June 9: Minions: The Rise of Gru at Westminster Park, 1320 Westminster. Dr.

July 7: E.T. at ARC Soccer Field, 8201 Janes Ave.
July 21: Moana at ARC Soccer Field (near Woodward and Wheeler)

Summer Concerts in Woodridge kick off June 28. Shows start at 7 p.m. and last about an hour and a half. Below is the full schedule:
June 28: Prairie Station plays country music at Ide's Grove West Park, 1825 Compton Rd.
July 12: Field Day plays classic rock from the 1970s through the 1990s at Westminster Park, 1320 Westminster Dr.
July 19: Gen Fuze plays classic rock at Mending Wall Park
July 26: The Hat Guys play rock music at Seven Bridges Park, 6516 Greene Rd.
Aug. 2: Miss Jamie's Farm plays children's music at Westminster Park, 1320 Westminster Dr.
Aug. 9: Rhythm Rockets play rhythm and blues music at 83rd Street Park, 2890 83rd St.
