Penguin Slide, BBQ, Skiing At Lisles 49th Annual Snofest

The night will feature craft cocktails, DJ music, and fireworks.

LISLE, IL -- It's not every day that you get to eat barbecue in chilly weather, hit the ski slopes, grab a craft cocktail, and then dance the night away to live DJ music. The chance to do all these things comes once a year at Lisle's 49th Annual Snofest, which is slated for Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Four Lakes Snowsports.

Ski rentals are available for skiers who want to try out the dual slalom course or take part in a "big air competition." Skiing is the main event for Snofest, but there are plenty of ground-bound activities to keep non-skiers entertained.

When you're not watching the competitions, you can channel your inner penguin and zoom down a slide, grab a bite of barbecued eats, or watch a torchlight parade go by.
