The younger athletes didn't let the adults have all the mini triathlon fun.

The Woodridge Rotary Club's Mini Triathlon offers a kids race for those ages 7 to 12. It consists of a 100-yard swim (four pool lengths), 3.1-mile bike ride and a one-mile run.

It was the 12th mini triathlon for the club, who expect about 700 athletes to participate. The club also hopes to raise $25,000 through the event.
