Play Chess at the Woodridge Library

Chess Club , Adults: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month, 10 a.m. - Noon

Beginners, novices and experienced chess players are welcome to meet and play friendly games of chess at the Woodridge Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. There are no fees or registration, please drop-in. Some boards will be provided, players are welcome to bring their own boards or clocks if they have them. Woodridge residents and members of the greater local area welcome.

Evening Chess, Adults & Teens: 3rd Thursday each month, 6 - 8 p.m.

Adult and teen chess players are welcome to meet and play friendly games of chess at the Woodridge Public Library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Third Thursday of each month. Tables will be reserved for chess players and some boards will be provided. Players are invited to bring their own boards or clocks if they have them. This is a drop-in opportunity: no formal instruction will be given, no fees or registration will be taken. Woodridge residents and members of the greater local area welcome.
