Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespassing, DUI: Woodridge Crime Blotter

WOODRIDGE, IL — The following items are from the Woodridge Police Department.

Criminal Trespass to Property

Shortly after 12 a.m. on Friday, June 9, Woodridge Police respoinded to a request to remove an unwanted person from property in the 7800 block of Woodward Avenue. Police arrested Carl Rutherford, 40, of the 7800 block of Woodridge Drive and charged him with criminal trespass to property.

Retail Theft

On Saturday, June 10, police charged MaryKate Bonavolante, 47, of the 400 block of 74th Street in Downers Grove with retail theft. Bonavolante allegedly removed several miscellaneous items from the Kohl’s department store at 1001 75th Street at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence

Police charged Daniel Zebell, 30, of the 2900 block of Roberts Drive in Woodridge with driving under the influence on Monday, June 12 at approximately 11:14 p.m. Zebell was stopped by police in the 6800 block of Roberts Drive after a report of reckless driving in that vicinity.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue on Tuesday, July 13 at approximately 6:32 a.m. After an investigation, Joan Tather-Garcia, 32, of the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue in Woodridge, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
