PVPN presents Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park"

March 18-26 at Westmont High School

Combining family spirit, love and laughs is PVPN’s presentation of “Barefoot in the Park”! New Yorkers Paul and Corie Bratter have just gotten married. He is a stuffed shirt just starting his career as a lawyer. Corie, a woman whose main goal in life is to have fun, prides herself on doing the irrational purely out of a sense of adventure. This includes such acts as walking through Washington Square Park barefoot when it's 17°F outside! During the play, the young couple contend with a lack of heat, a skylight that leaks snow and several long flights of stairs. With their oddball neighbor Victor Velasco, and Corie's well-meaning mother, they must also reconcile their own personal differences in how they approach life's challenges. Adjusting to married life isn't so easy. A true comedy waiting to be enjoyed!

Our very talented and comedic cast includes: Elizabeth Ley (Glenview) as Corie Bratter; David Pittman (Naperville) as Paul Bratter; Cheryle McKay (Clarendon Hills) as Ethel Banks; Jim Hannigan (Hinsdale) as Victor Velasco; Mike Murphy (Westmont) as the Telephone Repairman; and Rox Brix (Westmont) as our Delivery Man.

Performances are held at the Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood Drive in Westmont. Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults; $12.00 for seniors/students and can be purchased on our website. Group pricing available. For more information regarding this show, upcoming shows or PVPN in general, please call 630-963-5252 or visit:www.pvpnwestmont.com.
