Remembrance Event To Commemorate Sept. 11 In Woodridge

WOODRIDGE, IL — A remembrance ceremony will be held in Woodridge to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

The event will be held at Kagann Park, which is located outside of Woodridge Village Hall, 5 Plaza Dr., Woodridge. Members of the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, the Woodridge and Lisle Police Departments and Woodridge VFW Post 1578.

The ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. Residents who are unable to attend in person are encouraged to observe a moment of silence at 8:45 a.m.
