Residents Invited to Activity-Filled Woodridge Town Meeting (There's Dessert)

The Oct. 2 meeting will include touch-a-truck displays, meet and greets and a raffle for $350 in gift certificates.

Touch-a-truck displays, voter registration and raffle tickets are just a few elements of the upcoming Woodridge town meeting, set for Oct. 2 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Bobak’s Signature Room on Double Eagle Drive, according to the village website.

Representatives from the village, library, park district, fire district and school districts will attend the meeting, and residents are encouraged to meet and greet these providers of town services.

An open house kicks off the meeting with time to chat with staff from government entities, according to the village website. There will be handouts, giveaways and children’s activities through the evening.

The village asks residents to bring questions and input. Brief group table discussions on community goals will take place after the open house.

Refreshments, light appetizers and desserts will be provided.
