Roadwork along Route 83 in Willowbrook to Begin April 13
The roadwork is expected to be complete by mid-October, 2015.
Expect delays along Route 83 in Willowbrook beginning April 13, weather permitting, due to repaving and drainage repair roadwork.
Traffic on Route 83 will see the following changes between County Line and Knollwood Road, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
- Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- The left turn lanes will be maintaining during patching operations
- All lanes will be reopened to traffic from 5 a.m to 8 p.m.
- One shoulder and one lane will be closed in the northbound direction between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- One shoulder and one lane will be closed in the southbound direction between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The department expects the roadwork to be complete by mid-October, 2015.
