Rocky Horror Performers Join Fight for Air stair climb

Rocky Horror cast Completely Crazy will climb Oakbrook Terrace Tower Feb 8 in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air event

Completely Crazy, a Rocky Horror Picture Show cast performing in Woodridge, is fielding a 6-person team in the American Lung Association’s “Fight for Air” stair climb Feb. 8.  They will climb 31 flights - nearly the height of the Eiffel Tower - in their Rocky Horror costumes to help the ALA fight lung cancer.

“I’m really excited to beat last year’s time” says Wally Barsell, who will climb dressed as corseted scientist Frank N Furter, minus the heels.  He and team captain Audrey Cordova are climbing for the th year; other team members are joining for the first time.  As of January 16, the team has raised nearly $800, and they expect to break $1000 by the day of the event.

Completely Crazy has been performing Rocky Horror in front of Chicagoland screens since 1990.  They perform the film in midnight shows every Saturday in Woodridge at the Hollywood Blvd theater.  Performances include full costumes, makeup and props, and there is a pre-show to induct virgins into the full-blown Rocky Horror experience.
