Car Reported Stolen In Downers Grove: Police

The car was reportedly stolen from a parking lot in the 3000 block of Finley Road.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating an incident in which a car was reported stolen. The theft took place sometime between May 6 and May 9, according to a police report.

The victim told police that he lent his car, a blue 2007 Nissan Altima, to his brother, who took the car to work. Police say the victim's brother left the car at his place of work in the 3000 block of Finley Road around 9 p.m. on May 6. When he got back to work on May 9, the victim's brother said he noticed the car was missing.

Police say the victim's brother confirmed that the car had not been towed from the work parking lot. Police also say they checked the surrounding area in an attempt to find the car, but were unsuccessful.
