Sixty Years of Giving Happiness, Love and Loyalty to Each Other

On their diamond anniversary, family and friends gathered at Shanahan's to send Rich and Ruth Moore all their love on this very special day.

A 60th wedding anniversary, also known as the diamond anniversary, marks a monumental milestone in a couple’s journey together. It’s a celebration of enduring love, strength, and unwavering commitment. Thousands of memories, gratitude, regrets, choices, reactions, challenges and celebrations are all woven together in a beautiful tapestry of faith and love that span over six decades.

There is no greater compliment or tribute to a marriage than to hear many saying, "That's the kind of marriage I want to have and be known for." For over a century, the diamond has been a symbol of the 60th wedding anniversary. The hardest naturally occurring substance on earth, diamonds represent the enduring strength of a marriage that has bonded two people together for this long.

On their diamond anniversary, family and friends gathered at Shanahan’s to send Rich and Ruth Moore all their love on this very special day, sixty years of giving happiness, love and loyalty to each other must not go unmarked. Their three daughters and their families wished them many more years of love and good health together.”A special blessing was offered by Fr Mark Cote, the new Pastor of St. Scholastica Parish.
