Sled Dogs Bring Holiday Cheer to Woodridge Library on 12/3

'Tis the season to meet a sled dog! Kids and dog lovers of all ages had a fantastic time meeting a pack of friendly sled dogs and frisky pup

Volunteers from Free Spirit Siberian Rescue in Harvard, IL descended on the Woodridge Public Library with friendly dogs, frisky puppies, sleds, and a lot of good cheer, delighting over 600 visitors. Both calm and playful, Siberian Huskies like Hazel and Hawkeye let visitors snuggle up close and active dogs like Rudy pulled a practice sled and greeted their other friends from the pack with yowls.

Woodridge Public Library programs are offered for all ages, free to the public. Visit the Events calendar to register for upcoming events, including Live Music: A Rat Pack Holiday with Jack Miuccio on December 11 at 2 p.m., and Cookie Day on Saturday, December 17 from noon to 2 p.m.
