SPRING CLEANING FOR A CAUSE WITH TEAM 66
TEAM 66 EDUCATION FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES SOFT GOODS DONATION DRIVE WITH SAVERS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Spring has sprung just in time to clean out closets for a noteworthy cause. The TEAM 66 Education Foundation (TEAM 66) is excited to announce its Donation Drive with Savers on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Prairieview Elementary School parking lot located at 699 Plainfield Road in Downers Grove. Team 66 invites the community to unload their Spring cleaning soft goods as part of a new fundraising effort to help the foundations continued success in enhancing community support and expanding resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize opportunities for all students in Center Cass School District 66.
All goods collected through the Donation Drive fundraiser program are sold to Savers. Savers will pay Team 66 by the pound for every qualifying donation received. Acceptable donations include only soft goods including clothing, bed linens and towels.

Team 66 benefits the Center Cass School District 66 by providing funds for educational programs and activities, which are not funded by the normal operating budget. These funds are used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations. Money raised through various fundraising efforts will help fund innovative teaching grants that will provide resources directly to the classroom for teachers to implement exciting new educational programs.
