Steven's Family Restaurant Closed After Sprinkler Pipe Bursts

Steven's Family Restaurant flooded after a sprinkler pipe burst, closing the restaurant until further notice.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Steven's Family Restaurant announced that it will be closed until further notice after a burst sprinkler system pipe flooded the restaurant's interior. The owners announced the temporary closure via Facebook Wednesday afternoon.

Loyal customers took to Facebook to express their dismay and give their support. One resident wrote, "Oh no. Sorry to hear about the mess. Hope for a quick restoration."

The restaurant's team responded to nearly all of the more than 60 comments personally.

The cleanup will take longer than they first anticipated, though. In response to a comment on Saturday, Jennifer Poulikidis-Galetsis wrote that the Steven's Family Restaurant is "hoping to be back up and running in the next 7-10 days."

Steven's Family Restaurant, a beloved fixture in Woodridge, has been family owned and operated for more than 25 years.
