'Tis the Season for Haunted Tales

Ghost stories, urban legends and ancient myths are at the heart of what makes Halloween ghoulishly fun and frightful...at the library!

Whether it's teens creating Day of the Dead sugar skulls or kids and parents dressing in costume to attend a family-friendly Monster Mash Dance Party your local library has many ways of celebrating this ghoulish time of year.

But at the heart of Halloween are the frightful tales which have us jumping at shadows and sleeping with the lights on. Stories of evil fairies, creatures that are half-man and half-wolf, headless horsemen and mysterious noises from the attic fill our imagination with doubts and fears as all-hallows-eve approaches.

One local performer is keeping the frightful tales alive in show featuring the familiar spirits that may haunt our lives. William Pack is a storyteller and magician with the added skills of a mentalist and entertainer. Pack has created an interactive evening filled with eerie and supernatural stories and occurrences.
