USA Today Football Rankings: Trojans 63rd, Mustangs 128th in State

USA Today has released their national rankings of high-school football teams for the 2013 season, and of 579 teams in Illinois, the Downers Grove North High School Trojans are ranked 63rd and the Downers Grove South High School Mustangs are ranked 128th.

In the list, Downers Grove North's offense is ranked 81st in the state and their defense is ranked 49th; Downers Grove South's offense is ranked 95th and their defense is ranked 187th.

Nationally, the Trojans are ranked 1,227th; the Mustangs are 3,156th.

The top five Illinois teams according to the ranking are: No. 1 Mt. Carmel, Chicago; No. 2 Loyola Academy, Wilmette; No. 3 Lincoln-Way East, Frankfort; No. 4 Glenbard West and No. 5 Neuqua Valley, Naperville.
