VFW Buddy Poppy Days

Woodridge Memorial VFW Post 1578 will hold its annual BUDDY POPPY DAYS drive on Saturday, May 27th, and Sunday, May 28th. Post members will be at the Woodridge Jewel-Osco Store and at Woodridge Walgreens Store (75th Street & Janes Avenue) on both days.

Buying a Buddy Poppy and helping the VFW continues to benefit needy veterans today, just as it has for so many years. To date, the VFW has provided over one billion Buddy Poppies in donations. As long as Americans continue to spill their blood in defense of freedom, sales of these blood-red poppies will undoubtedly continue strong.
