Village Encourages Residents to “Shop Local, Shop Woodridge.”

Are you looking for a local accountant, attorney, bakery or barber? Do you need an expert computer repair specialist, financial planner, dentist or hairdresser? How about a terrific restaurant, grocery store or other retailer - right in your own hometown?

That’s what Small Business Saturday is all about – shopping at small, local businesses.

The Village of Woodridge has compiled a list of categories of local businesses on its “Shop Local, Shop Woodridge” page, just in time for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 24.

So, after you finish up the Thanksgiving leftovers and begin your holiday shopping, village officials are asking that you keep local Woodridge businesses in mind. 

As the village stated in its newsletter this week, “Woodridge is home to some of the most dynamic retailers, restaurants, service providers, markets and specialty stores in the area.  Our shops are as diverse as the people who live, work, and visit our community.”
