Village to Host Free Video Production Classes

Registrations will be accepted until noon Aug. 28.

Free video production classes will be taught beginning Sept. 1 at the Woodridge Village Hall.

Jeff Fisher, manager of Studio 300 in Fountaindale Library in Bolingbrook, will teach participants about script writing, camera techniques, capturing audio, using graphics, editing and final video production.

Classes will take place Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. until Oct. 10, with a class from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 10. All residents ages 16 and up are welcome to attend.

Individuals who complete the class will have an opportunity to join the cable crew at Woodridge Community Television (WCTV) Channel 6.

The class size is limited and it will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. To register, email jknight@vil.woodridge.il.us or call (630) 719-4712. Registrations will be accepted until noon Aug. 28.
