Village Names New Community Development Director
The village of Woodridge has hired Kimberly Porter from the Chicagoland RTA.

WOODRIDGE, IL – A manager with the Chicagoland Regional Transportation Authority has been hired as the next community development director in the village of Woodridge. Woodridge officials announced the hiring of Kimberly Porter to the position this week.
The village's search to fill the position left vacated by the resignation of Michael Mays involved more than 30 candidates across the nation. Porter "brings with her over 17 years of planning and community development experience working on both the local and regional levels," according to a news release announcing the hire.
“I am honored to accept this position," Porter said. "I have worked my entire career to be in a position like this, and to have this opportunity to work for such a great community like Woodridge makes it even more humbling.”
