Accomplishment: The team is undefeated in conference (16-0), and one win away from the conference championship. Coach Dreama Mensavage-Mueller said it could be the first time in school history that a team had that record.

Before starting conference play, the team also won two tournaments (Naperville Trojan Classic and 34th Annual Westmont Rotary Junior High Basketball Tournament) and took second in another (Downers Grove Mayor's Goodwill Basketball Classic.)

Key to Awesomeness: “They’re a really good team,” Mensavage-Mueller said. “They’re one of the better teams I’ve had for awhile. We just have a strong point guard (Jenny Adams), two strong shooting guards (Vashae Easley and Jaida Green) and some girls underneath that are really good.

Every game so far, everyone is getting in and contributing and scoring some points. It’s really team ball.

They’re very complimentary toward each other. They’re very unselfish. They look out for the other girls to score or play well. They’re hard workers. They want to win. They’re a really good group of girls."
