The Woodridge 11U baseball team for the third year in a row has won the Memorial Day Tournament. The 11U Bulldogs went undefeated to win the tournament. Coach Brian Jarvis said "Every year the Woodridge Bulldogs host this tournament, and every year this is the most important tournament for our kids to win because of that. Each year we get higher quality teams wanting to play in this tournament because we have great fields, great good, and a centralized location for a lot of communities. Most importantly we have a great team that other teams want to play and be measured by."
Jarvis also added: "All 12 of our boys are not only becoming better baseball players as the season is progressing, but more importantly, they are all best friends off the field that have a true emotional connection. This is what makes them successful." The next big test for the Woodridge Bulldogs is when they travel to Mokena to play in the Blaze Elite Tournament over Father's Day weekend.
