At the regular meeting held on July 16, 2018, the Woodridge School District 68 Board of Education unanimously appointed Aaron Pollack as the new dean of students at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School, effective August 1, 2018.

Aaron joins Woodridge 68 with 13 years of experience in education and comes to the school district from Ralph Ellison High School, a Chicago International Charter School, where he served as Assistant Principal. He is a dedicated educator with a breadth of experience in instructional and social emotional practices and is committed to leading educators towards culturally responsive instruction rooted in high support and high accountability for students and professionals. He gained additional administrative-level experience as Humanities Team Lead and Instructional Coach at CICS Ellison. Aaron began his career with Natick (MA) Public Schools as a history teacher.

“We are so excited Aaron Pollack will be joining our team at Jefferson Junior High. His experience overseeing the Dean's office at Ralph Ellison High School, experience implementing the PBIS system and restorative practices, and track record of effectively coaching staff make him a strong addition to our school and the community of Woodridge,” says Justin Warnke, Principal at Jefferson Junior High. “I am excited to lead alongside Aaron and look forward to seeing the positive impact that he has on student behavior and attendance at Jefferson.”
