Woodridge Cancels July 4 Fireworks, Picnic

In order to adhere to the public health regulations set forth in Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois plan, the Village of Woodridge is canceling two July 4 celebrations due to the Coronavirus. The communities of Woodridge, City of Darien, and Village of Downers Grove, who have historically split the costs of the annual Fireworks Show, have mutually agreed to cancel the event. Also, the Woodridge Special Events Committee is canceling the July 4 picnic at Castaldo Community Park.
