Woodridge Celebrates Independence Day at Castaldo Park

Woodridge residents are invited to the 47th Annual Fourth of July Picnic, which will be held on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Castaldo Park in Woodridge.

Come join in the celebration! There will be a performance by The Music Company, and free pony and train rides for small children. Hot dogs, brats, chips, pop, water, and ice cream treats will be available for a nominal charge.

The VFW will be selling corn on the cob and beer will also available for adults.

Fourth of July Firework Show at Zigfield Troy Golf Course

This year’s show will be extended to make up for the fireworks that were canceled at Jubilee due to weather.

The firework show will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m. (dusk) on July 4 at the Zigfield Troy Golf Course, 1535 75th Street.

The best views of the fireworks will be from the parking lots along 75th Street. This year’s show is co-sponsored by the Village of Downers Grove, the Village of Woodridge and the City of Darien.
