Woodridge Cops Make S'Mores, Talk Safety With Girl Scouts
Several Woodridge police officers came to the Girl Scout Camp to talk about camp safety.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Some Woodridge police officers spent a little time off their beats to enjoy S'Mores with Girl Scouts at a local camp. The officers came to help the Girl Scouts learn how to prepare for potential emergencies at their camp.
The team of officers, which included Officer Greg Bernard, Officer John Kasperski, Officer Nick Panko, Deputy Chief Stefanson, and Chief Cunningham were on hand to teach the scouts how to stay prepared at the camp, which expects 450 campers to come through weekly, police said.

The police officers and the Girl Scouts ended the fun and educational day just like you would any day at camp: They made S'Mores.
