On October 22 at Woodridge KinderCare, teacher Maryella Bifano was surprised at work with a $10,000 check and the Knowledge Universe Early Childhood Educator Award. Maryella was chosen from more than 24,000 early childhood educators in the Knowledge Universe family for this honor.
Maryella has been an educator at KinderCare for five years, and was nominated and selected for this award without her knowledge. Maryella was presented with the award in front of children, parents, and colleagues who value her teaching abilities and dedication to her classroom. The Knowledge Universe annual Early Childhood Educator Award recognizes teachers across the country who demonstrate exceptional skills in teaching young children.
