Woodridge Man Allegedly Drove Past Young Girl 'Multiple Times'
Police arrested Edward Pittas, 56, of the 1800 block of 71st Street, after he allegedly drove past the 12-year-old girl "multiple times."

WOODRIDGE, IL — Police say a Woodridge man drove past the same 12-year-old girl "multiple times" while he was living in Arlington Heights to care for his father. Arlington Heights Police charged Douglas Pittas, 56, of the 1800 block of 71st Street, with disorderly conduct in connection to the incidents, Daily Herald Reports.
The young girl reportedly told her mother that she had observed the same car drive past her slowly and then turn around and drive past her again repeatedly as she walked home from school in Arlington Heights. After the first incident on Jan. 16, the girl saw the man again a few days later, police said.
The girl's mother told police she believed she spotted the vehicle Wednesday, just over a week after it was seen repeatedly driving by the young girl. Police then tracked down Pittas at his father's home and took him into custody.
