Woodridge Microbiologist To Compete On 'Big Brother'

WOODRIDGE, IL — A Woodridge resident will take the spotlight when he competes on the CBS show ''Big Brother'' this summer. Cameron Heard, 24, a microbiologist, will join a 16-person cast for the reality show's 19th season on air.

Heard, who was born in Aurora, but relocated to Woodridge, will join 15 other contestants to live in a home with hundreds of high-definition cameras and microphones. Each week, cast members vote off one contestant. The winning contestant will receive a prize of $500,000.
