Woodridge Park District Athletic Recreation Center Tentatively Scheduled to Open on January 2

The ARC's new website will launch in October and include more information on fitness memberships, rentals and membership sale dates.

Based on current construction progress, the Woodridge Park District Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) is tentatively scheduled to open to the public on January 2, 2017. More facility opening details and pricing will be posted on the new ARC website in October.

Construction progress since the June 1, 2016 report included but was not limited to: sloped roof (100% complete), downspouts (100% complete), exterior façade metal composite panels (60% complete), mechanical/electrical/plumbing (90% complete), athletic turf field radiant piping (80% complete), gymnasium underdrain/insulation blankets/wire mesh/volleyball footings (100% complete), first floor drywall (65% complete), window curtain wall second floor (80% complete), first floor program rooms window frames and windows installed (70% complete), athletic turf field and gym DuoGuard windows (100% complete), and protective bollards and trash enclosure foundations (100% complete).

The following construction work scheduled for July, weather, humidity, and temperature permitting includes but is not limited to: mechanical/electrical/plumbing continues, continue with drywall on first and second floors, finish athletic field turf radiant heat tubing and gravel subbase backfill, start and complete install of gym radiant heat tubing system, finish window curtain walls on second floor north elevation, install exterior window sun shades, continue installation of exterior facade metal composite panels and pour gym concrete floor.
