Woodridge Park District Employee Receives "Rising Star" Award

The Woodridge Park District is proud to announce that Megan Pettit, Public Relations and Marketing Manager for the Woodridge Park District, received the Rising Star Award from the Communication and Marketing (C&M) Section of the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA). Each year, the committee recognizes the outstanding efforts and leadership of a new member or a member who has stepped into a new role with the C&M Rising Star Award. This year, the section recognized Megan Pettit for her role as co-chair of the education committee.

According to her nominator, “Megan has breathed new life into the committee and brings a wealth of knowledge and ideas to the C&M section.” The application went on to describe Megan as “creative and forward-thinking” and having “fantastic energy.”
