Woodridge Park District Welcomes New Commissioner at September 12 Board Meeting

Commissioner Cohen filled the vacancy of former Commissioner Joe Kubal, who is planning to relocate out of District.

The Woodridge Park District Board of Commissioners welcomed a new commissioner at their September 12 meeting. Commissioner Bill Cohen was officially appointed and sworn in to begin his term on the Board of Park Commissioners.

Commissioner Cohen is a long-time resident of Woodridge with enthusiasm for the Park District and the desire to give back to his community. He was a coach in several sports for his kids and served on the Woodridge Athletic Association board, as well as the Westminster Park Planning Committee.
