On Monday, May 18, 2020, at 7:30 p.m., the Plan Commission will consider three public hearing cases. The first is a request by Monument Highcrest LLC to construct an approximately 1,000 square foot addition to their existing pool building at 3514 83rd Street. This proposed new building would serve as a fitness room for residents and a leasing office. The second hearing is a request by True Properties III, LLC for a zoning map amendment (rezoning) for the Green Ridge professional building at 7409 Woodridge Drive, located directly behind the retail strip mall on 75th Street and Woodridge Drive. Currently zoned B-1, the owners would like to rezone to OSB Office and Service Business to attract more medical and office uses. The third hearing is a request by the Village to propose a text amendment to section 9-12-7-C1 of the Village Code, which sets a maximum of 50% coverage for any roof-mounted solar systems. The proposal is to remove the 50% maximum.
