Woodridge Police Blotter April 7 through 9

Purse stolen from parking lot of JoAnne Fabrics in Woodridge last Sunday.

WOODRIDGE, IL —Last Saturday, the Woodridge Police Department arrested a man for driving with a suspended license. They also responded to reports of a stolen purse on Sunday. There were no crimes reported for Friday.

On Saturday, April 8, police stopped a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed near the 7200 block of Cass Avenue around 10 p.m. The driver, Lamar Pfleger, 43, was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

At approximately 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, a woman mistakenly left her purse and some purchased items in a cart in the parking lot of JoAnne's Fabrics at 7511 Lemont Road. The woman returned to find her purse missing from the cart. Her estimated loss was $697.
