Woodridge Police Department to Take Super Plunge into Lake Michigan

The 2015 Super Plunge, held Feb. 20 and 21, benefits Special Olympics.

The Woodridge Police Department will be taking the 2015 SUPER Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

From Feb. 20 to 21, brave men and women will be taking dips, once every hour, into the icy waters of Lake Michigan. The plunge will raise funds “for the more than 21,000 Special Olympics Illinois traditional athletes and more than 11,000 Young Athletes with and without intellectual disabilities who train and compete throughout the year,” according to the village.
