Woodridge Police Reports: Assault, DUI, Retail Theft

The following information is courtesy of the Woodridge Police Department.

At approximately 8:46 p.m. April 17, Carolyn Dean, age 53 of the 7900 block of Everglade Avenue, Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at Woodridge Drive and Williams Drive.

At approximately 10:35 p.m. April 17, Colby Hollins, age 24 of the 2700 block of Woodmere Drive, Darien, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and obstructing a police officer following a traffic stop in the 7300 block of Route 53.

At approximately 1 p.m. April 19, Samantha Browder, age 18 of the 8300 block of Portsmouth Drive, Darien, and Ryan Shatava, age 18 of the 8300 block of Portsmouth Drive, Darien, were each charged with retail theft after removing items of clothing from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., without paying.

A burglary occurred sometime between 2:30 p.m. on April 19 and 9:15 a.m. on April 20 in the 7500 block of Gladstone Drive. An unknown person removed a flat-screen television from a model apartment.

At approximately 9:46 p.m. April 21, Joseph Wetter, age 27 of the 3400 block of 83rd Street, Woodridge, was charged with criminal damage to property after the investigation of a disturbance in the 3400 block of 83rd Street.

At approximately 7:28 p.m. April 22, Christopher Krafcy, age 42 of the 2000 block of Prentiss Drive, Downers Grove, was charged with assault, reckless conduct and reckless driving following the investigation of a disturbance in the 7000 block of Yorkshire.
