Woodridge Police Reports: Burglary, Property Damage, Theft

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through May 1.

A criminal damage to vehicle occurred sometime between 10 p.m. April 24 and 7:30 a.m. April 25 in the 1200 block of Meadowwood. An unknown person slashed the driver’s side tires of a parked vehicle.

A residential burglary occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 28 in the 2400 block of Spring Street. An unknown person entered an apartment through an unlocked door and removed two game systems.

A criminal damage to property occurred at approximately 12:25 a.m. April 30 in the 6800 block of Woodridge Drive. An unknown person broke the front window of a residence.

At approximately 1:47 p.m. April 30, Arturo Medrano-Medina, age 43 of the 6700 block of Lake Shore Drive, Westmont was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident in the 2100 block of Country Club Drive.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. April 30, Jeannie Stevenson, age 48 of the 16400 block of Lakeside Drive, Lockport was charged with retail theft after removing miscellaneous items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. April 30, Graham Nelson, age 18 of the 8400 block of Mending Wall Drive, Woodridge, was charged with retail theft after removing an item of jewelry from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.
