Woodridge Police Reports: DUI, Burglary, Drug Possession

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through March 6.

At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Feb. 27, Trevon Funches, age 22 of 2401 Spring Street, Woodridge, was charged with possession of cannabis following the investigation of a parked car in the 2400 block of Spring Street.

A theft of a truck trailer occurred sometime between Feb. 23 and Feb. 28 at American Furniture Rentals, 2145 Internationale Parkway.

At approximately 9:51 a.m. on March 1, Brian Barger, age 19 of 7005 DuPage Drive, Downers Grove, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following the investigation of a parked car in the 2600 block of Mitchell Drive.

A concrete cherub statue was stolen March 1 from a mailbox in front of a home in the 9100 block of Witham Lane.

At approximately 2:41 p.m. on March 1, Zachary White, age 21 of 465 Rockhurst, Bolingbrook, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 8200 block of Janes Avenue.

At approximately 9:48 p.m. on March 3, Richard Bezrrtczyk age 29 of 1701 Eric Lane, Libertyville, was charged with drunken driving, possession of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Joliet Road at Davey.

At approximately 7:25 p.m. on March 4, Gonzalo Davila, age 36 of 14241 Clearview Lane, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop Woodward Avenue at Oxnard Avenue, Downers Grove.

At approximately 2:33 p.m. on March 5, Edwin Martinez, age 27 of 531 Forest Avenue, Aurora, was charged with possession of cannabis following a traffic stop in the 8400 block of Route 53.

A residential burglary occurred March 5 sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the 8100 block of Waterbury Court. Someone forced entry into an apartment and removed miscellaneous items.
